A Child Counts the Stars

Mélios is a young boy living in a small village who has a great passion for learning, but his life is very difficult because he is poor. Even though he has to work hard to survive, he dreams of going to school and becoming a teacher one day. The story follows his journey as he travels to the city of Thessaloniki to follow his dream, facing many challenges and unkind people along the way. It is a very touching story about a boy’s hunger for knowledge and his courage to never give up, showing that even in the darkest times, we can still “count the stars.”
