Have you ever heard of “climate fiction”? It is a relatively new genre – “literature of our planet in transformation” (Sparks, 2017) or “the climate change novel” (Irr, 2017). Maja Lunde published the 3rd of the Quartet of books and this one has the “bees” as the fil rouge of the narration.

I would have liked to cry: the make-up stopped me, it looked just right, with the cracks, with the places where it was beginning to flake off, tears would have ruined all that. I could cry later, if I still felt like it.
And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.
