The book “Sarah’s Key” is based on real events, which takes place in two periods: 1942 and 2002 in Paris. In July 1942 in Paris and its suburbs, they were arrested, thousands and thousands of Jews were deported and later killed in Auschwitz. In the Winter velodrome, which was here, the French police, ordered the Nazi occupier,s had imprisoned and kept Jewish families in inhumane conditions. The next storyline takes us to 2002, when Julia, an American journalist living in France, receives an assignment to write an article about the already mentioned persecution of Jews at the Winter Velodrome.
