Malinverno

The story is set in Timpa, a small village where the lives of the inhabitants are deeply intertwined with the stories found in books. The protagonist, Astolfo Malinverno, works a unique double job: he is both the town librarian and the guardian of the local cemetery. Because of his vast literary knowledge, Astolfo begins to see the world through the lens of the novels he reads, often giving the nameless deceased the identities of famous literary characters. His life takes a poetic turn when he finds a mysterious photograph on a tombstone, leading him on a journey that blurs the line between reality and fiction. It is a lyrical tribute to the power of imagination and the eternal bond between life, death, and literature.
