Cinque donne e un arancino

Rosa, after her husband’s death, leaves Milan to return to her Sicilian hometown, Monte Pepe. She finds the local women trapped in monotony and decides to open a bakery specializing in the best arancini to invigorate their lives and attract tourists. Rosa enlists her friends Giuseppa, the twins Maria and Nunziatina, and Sarina. Despite facing challenges due to the town’s isolation and few customers, new relationships bloom, and their lives are transformed when a mysterious woman takes them on an unexpected adventure to New York, highlighting the unpredictable nature of life.
