Silene Edgar and Paul Beorn are french authors, who have written story about Latvian opera singer Māra Galanta, known as the Lady of the Walls, gained world fame by singing at the Berlin Wall in 1972.
In the center of the story are two questions – Why doesn’t Māra want to return to Latvia even after the fall of the Iron Curtain and why does she avoid talking about her grand daughter Emma?
