Booktreilers: work in progress

Small steps, big results! This can be summarised as the third meeting between the members of the Free University of the Third Age of Soverato and the trainers of the EU-Read&Art project, for Jump – Youth in riSalto.

Once again, as planned, the participants put their curiosity and creative spirit to work to make the first three booktrailers from the previously chosen books.

A team effort, which in a playful and shared way, enabled our ‘Senior’ group to realise their projects from the search for material to the final editing.

The first step of the meeting was in fact dedicated to the right choice of copyfree audiovisual material (photos, graphics, videos, animations, sound tracks, etc.) to be combined with the texts elaborated during the previous meeting.

Under the supervision of the Jump trainers, the participants then accessed the Canav software and proceeded to the editing of the material, with really good results for beginners.

All this with a spirit of collaboration and a focus on reading, speaking English language and use artistic creativity, in perfect ‘EU-Read&Art’ style.

The booktrailers are now ready to be enjoyed by everyone and enrich the First European Digital Booktrailers Library!
