About the Children’s Book “The Gold Orange”

The children’s book “The Gold Orange” by Anastasia Ioakeimidou becomes the occasion to find a link between Greece, China and Japan.

So what connects the three countries? 

The answer, which young and old readers alike can find on the pages of the book through a careful but entertaining reading, focuses on the beautiful tree that is laden with fruit that looks like golden oranges.

This book is about the adventure of a Greek family living in Japan and through their adventures the reader mentally lives a beautiful journey in South Asia, understanding the great importance of meeting other countries and nationalities. The book has a lot of exciting information.

Ioanna Valvi’s colourful and vivid drawings accompany the story’s text in the best way. 

At the end of the book, there are educational activities that can also be used in the classroom.
